our story

A silver-lining for me during the brink of the pandemic, was adopting my lil Pancake April 2020. I remember clearly that when I didn’t get picked to be her Mom, I was devastated. There was just something about her that I had thought she was supposed to be mine. And then a few days later I got a message from the rescue asking if I was still interested in adopting her!!!

Pancake’s Helping Paws is a part of One Love Movement that is all about helping dogs who’ve been through traumatic circumstances or abuse, like Pancake has.

She and I have both learned SO MUCH since April 2020 and today we’ve come a long way. We’ve been through three surgeries together, failed trainings, lots of behavioral reactions, and inside all of that, I love her I love her I love her. Pancake’s Helping Paws is dedicated to helping lil pups who’ve had a rough start too.

Come to Yoga For A Cause, our weekly Saturday donation-based class in San Diego. Not all classes are dedicated to Pancake’s Helping Paws, but some are and we’d love to connect with you in-person!
